DIY Vintage Inspired Easter Baskets
The month of April feels like it is flying by so fast. I can hardly believe Easter is just around the corner.
I have a fun and, hopefully, inspiring diy project for you today. It’s all about bringing some vintage charm to those Easter baskets!
Now, these ideas may not be practical for the kiddos who only prefer high tech gadgets and candy, or very young children, but if you have a child with an old soul, this may be just the thing to make their heart fill with delight. I know, I would have loved a basket full of pretty, vintage goodies. (I would enjoy one now, in fact!) Or simply include a few vintage elements along with the other gifts and treats.
Other possibilities include creative gift baskets for baby or bridal showers, adding a sweet basket to a vignette display in your Easter decor, or putting together a collection for a vintage-loving friend.
The possibilities are endless once you put your mind to it. I have three different examples in this post and would love to hear which one is your favorite. To begin this project you will need to gather some baskets, which can be found in plenty at thrift stores and antique shops. For the bedding of each of mine, I used excelsior wood shed. I love this stuff and use it all the time. You can find an example of it here: Aspenwood Excelsior 565 Cubic Inches-Natural*

Alice, those are all so pretty. I really like the doll one, but my daughter doesn't like dolls with eyes that open and shut. But since she loves "Alice", piano, and ballet it will have something of that spin.
