4th of July Porch and Wishing you a Happy Holiday!

Fourth of July is just a few days away, so I thought I would wish you a happy holiday and share some pictures of our patriotic porch. And by “patriotic” I mean, a flag, a wreath, and a some red flowers.

That counts right?

My husband decided to buy a flag this year, since both of our children are always pointing them out. Our porch is typically fairly plain, so the flag and the addition of the red impatiens that he also got for us, have cheered the space up quite a bit.

My front porch doesn’t have any covering except for over the doorway, which severely limits my decorating out here. Sometimes I really long for a large covered porch so I could do more. On the flip side, I really love getting as much natural light inside as possible (for taking great interior shots!) and I know that a porch would hinder that.

Our porch does get a lot of use though! Especially for chalk drawings by the little ones.

I shared a tutorial for how to make my Patriotic Vintage Book Page Wreath at Yellow Bliss Road a few weeks back. It’s not too late to make one!

Wishing all of my fellow Americans a very happy 4th!
Be sure to check out my patriotic mantel if you missed it. I even included a free printable banner for you!
