It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas {in July}: Three Styles to Inspire!

Christmas in July is here at last! Remember a few weeks back when I held “A Little Christmas in July” link party? Well today, the 25th of July, I have a round-up of twenty-five festive decorating ideas, in three inspiring styles, for you to enjoy in spite of the summer heat.

I hope you will stop by a few of the features that catch your eye, and let them know how they have inspired you!

Rustic Christmas
Who doesn’t love to snuggle up somewhere cozy and rustic at Christmas time? It is my favorite style for the holiday, so I am starting with some inspirational farmhouse and woodland themed Christmases…
Farmhouse stairs lined with festive mason jar candles from Town and Country Living
Greenery, wire house and candles from AKA Design
Rosemary tree in burlap from Finding Silver Pennies
Rustic old truck, ironstone and “Joy” banner from Hogg Barn Antiques
Cozy, rustic living room from Blue Clear Sky
Drop cloth stockings from Finding Silver Pennies
Woodland themed Christmas inspiration from Eliza Ellis
Pallet wood tree and woodland decor from Vintage with Laces
Whimsical Christmas
Another holiday style that is filled with fun and wonder is Christmas whimsy. This style helps remind us of childhood, when Christmas time was surrounded by magic and anticipation, glittering lights, pretty colors and fanciful decor.
Glittered “Believe” banner and mason jar snow scene from Thoughts from Alice
Christmas Soiree with Marie Antoinette angel cupcake toppers from Cafe Chatelaine
Simple white christmas tree with colorful ornaments from Dreaming Shabby

PB inspired glittered Santa from Serendipity Refined
Whimsically gift wrapped decor from That One Mom
Partridge and pear ornaments from Let’s Eat Grandpa
Grinch fruit kabobs from My Thrift Store Addiction
Traditional Christmas
Traditional Christmas decor reminds me of holidays at home with my mom. She decorated to the brim with red and green and all things that spoke of, “Christmas.” Simple and classic, a traditional Christmas never goes out of style.

Red, white and green table centerpiece from Town and Country Living
Christmas porch decor with hot cocoa station from Our Family Inspired Home

Have you started thinking about Christmas yet? I have already started prepping in the back of my mind. At this point, I am looking forward to creating a “rustic lodge” style again this year with even more handmade touches than last. I also plan to have more than one large tree – one for my kids in our upstairs hall. I am already giddy with excitement for it!

I would love to hear what your thoughts about Christmas 2014 are! Share them with me in a comment below! And use the buttons on the sidebar to follow along with me on social media so you never miss a post!
