A Year of Mantel Vignettes

Today, I thought it would be fun to share all of the mantel vignettes that I created this past year. I love changing out the decor of our mantel season to season. I am still on my blogging break but got this post ready for you before, so you could enjoy it now!

Our mantel currently resides in our dining room and has for the past few years. We purchased it at an architectural salvage store right after we moved into our current home. It was painted dark brown then, but because the paint was literally chipping right off, we sanded it down and gave it a rough coat of white. Click on each of the links below to be taken to the individual posts to see all of the vignette details. I hope you enjoy this “mantel recap”!

They are all wonderful. I have a few mantels in my home. I seem to collect them and will be receiving another one soon. I am always looking for mantel inspiration so you hit a home run with this post!

I was trying to pick a favorite but I don't think I could. I do like the New Year's one with the clocks. In fact, I never think to decorate for New Year's unless I am having a party but I am going to steal your idea and do a clock theme for New Year's.

I hope you are enjoying your blogging break and spending lots of quality time with hubby and the kids. Happy New Year! Looking forward to your posts in 2015.

Of course, you know I'm a big fan of your mantels they are all beautiful! I think my favorite favorite favorite is your ode to artists mantel because it's how I found you! Not sure where I saw it, but I immediately fell in love with the colors and style. Keep them coming!
