Valentine’s day is just around the corner, but there is still time to get some cute gifts for the little ones in your life! Today, I have compiled a list of gift ideas inspired by my own kiddos, Hazel, age 3 1/2 and Owen, almost 2 1/2. They would love all of these things or already do as they have a few on this list. All of these items are under $25 each and come from Amazon.com*. Most are available with free Prime shipping if you are a member (more details below).

I hope you enjoy these and find some inspiration here!

1. ‘Llama Llama I Love You’ by Anna Dewdney

Ever since we first received Llama, Llama Red Pajama, as a gift some years ago, both of my kids have fallen in love with the Llama books. I know they would be thrilled to receive this Valentine’s version.

I personally fell in love with this pair of pillow covers the minute I saw them. Since my children share a bedroom, these would look adorable on each of their beds.

3. Frozen’s Elsa Pink & Polka Dot Dress

Does anyone else have to watch Frozen as much as I do? My daughter literally belts out with, “Let it go!” every chance she gets. She is also a girly girl, so I know this dress would be just her style. It would be a great outfit for wearing on Valentine’s Day for sure!

Both of my kids also love playing with Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, so I know they would enjoy playing with this cute and funny Valentine’s version.

My daughter actually received this stamping set for Christmas and she loves it. And I am glad because now that she finally has her own stamps, she doesn’t beg me to get mine out all of the time 🙂 This one in particular is perfect for Valentine’s day because it includes several heart stamps and a rose.
Before having children, I always thought I would try to shield Barbie dolls from any daughter’s that I had for as long as I could. Most of them aren’t dressed very “appropriately” in my opinion. Well, my daughter up and found out about Barbie all on her own…and much to my chagrin…loves her. I found this one wearing a cute Valentine’s outfit that is actually cute! I know my Hazel would adore her, and I have to say, I approve.
An absolute favorite book of ours that never gets old, is I Love You Through and Through. Hazel received it as a gift from a former NICU buddy and her parents when she turned a year old. I cried the first time I read it with her. It is simple and sweet, and I love that this set comes with the adorable teddy bear too! Any books illustrated by Caroline Jayne Church are winners to us. We also have Goodnight, I Love You, and my children actually think the characters are themselves in the book!

We have so many Karen Katz books around here and this one was our first! That’s how my daughter got hooked. So I just kept buying them. Even now at three years old, she still enjoys them.

We have not read this one yet, but it is on my list of ‘must gets’! I read the reviews and it seems to be a good book to teach thoughtfulness and thinking about others. I love that.
Okay, being *slightly* partial here, but I know my son Owen would be the most adorable kid on the block in this shirt! He is definitely my little heart breaker. A mama’s boy through and through.
This one was inspired by my little man as well. He doesn’t get into crafts as much as his sister does, but he LOVES monsters and I bet being able to peel, stick and glue these paper bag puppets together would be right up his alley.
This one is my absolute favorite book for little ones! It is a must if you don’t yet have it. I fell in love with the story several years before having children when it appeared in a magazine I had. I clipped it out and saved it at the time. It was one of the first books I ran out to buy when I knew I was pregnant and I read it to my daughter regularly when she was in the NICU and still do!
And while you are it, you might as well get the Little Nutbrown Hare to go with the book! Perfect way to say, “I love you” on Valentine’s Day!
And last but not least, I found these adorable owls that are bedtime companions. I had never heard of them before but was intrigued that they are microwavable and filled with lavender to help little ones sleep. They can also be used as cold packs for when fevers or injuries happen. They come in a variety of colors too!

As I mentioned, most of these are available with free Prime shipping. We recently became members and I have to say, I love it! We got rid of cable and enjoy lots of shows and movies included as well as those we pay for in our “video library”. And even though we are paying for some, the savings is enormous compared to our cable bill.

Another awesome perk is that many items on the site include free Prime shipping with membership, so I have been doing quite a bit more shopping on their than I used to. Which is perfect for me, since I am not a huge fan of going out shopping. It can be near impossible with two little ones in tow!

If you have young children yourself, I would love to hear your plans for Valentine’s Day gifts!
