Vintage Bohemian Fall Decor Ideas

Fall is my favorite time of year, and it’s just around the corner. I am already getting excited to prep my home for the season and share my fall home tour with you next month! Until then, I thought I would share some simple ways to add vintage bohemian flavor to your fall decor from seasons past. I hope you enjoy these!

Nothing says bohemian like macrame right? And, I LOVE my vintage macrame owls. So much so that one adorned my front door last fall. {Rustic Fall Front Porch}

Another one greeted visitors as soon as they entered our home. {Cozy & Eclectic Fall Living Room}

Fur is great way to bring coziness for fall while adding boho flair. I bought a couple of yards of faux fur from Jo-Ann’s and used it all throughout our home last year. {Fall Mantel Vignette}

Decorating with real pumpkins and gourds is a must for me during the season, but last year I also made some bohemian style pumpkins with faux fur and tribal patterned fabric. Small feathers and some vintage bling gave them a little something special. {DIY Embellished Fabric Pumpkins}

Succulents and cacti are my favorite plants, so I continue to include them in my fall decor. They add a bit of the unexpected to an autumn display. {Vintage Eclectic Dining Room Reveal}

Baskets are another favorite collection of mine. They blend in seamlessly with any fall vignette. {Fall Home Tour}
Feathers are a simple way to add bohemian style to a fall or Thanksgiving tablescape. Add one to each place setting, and if you wanted to take it a step further, you could attach a small name tag to each one for guests, or a simple note of gratitude. {Fall Table & Dining Room}
Last year was all about antlers around here. They definitely create the whole “rustic cabin vibe”, which I start craving during this time of year.
Found deer skulls added to that look as well, like in this mantel display from our dining room last year.

Pops of fall colors is another great way to incorporate boho chic style for autumn. They can be brought in easily with natural touches.

Like leaves and bouquets of colorful flowers. {Romantic Autumn Decorating}
Don’t neglect the back porch or patio when decorating for fall! It can become a great place to enjoy a cup of hot tea for awhile before winter makes its appearance. Last year, I decorated our back patio with a simple fall vignette that included Indian corn, vintage owl figurines and some Moroccan style lanterns.

On the opposite side, I created a cozy, fall-filled tablescape to enjoy out here all season long. {Outdoor Thanksgiving Table Ideas}

I’m not sure exactly how I will bring fall into our home this year just yet, but my brain is overflowing with ideas! Make sure you come back to see how it turns out πŸ™‚

Till next time…
