Christmas in the Living Room with Raymour & Flanigan

I am proud to be partnering with Raymour & Flanigan for this post. I have previously received products featured in this post from them, and they are sponsoring this generous giveaway. All expressed opinions are 100% my own. Read my full disclosure.

Today, I am thrilled to be taking you inside our living room decked out for the season! Since I have yet to share a full holiday home tour, I hope you enjoy this “mini tour” to get a taste of how we are doing Christmas this year.

I am also very excited to be joining with four other bloggers, each with their own holiday inspiration, and giveaways for $500 to Raymour & Flanigan! You can find more details about that at the end of this post.
Our living room has always had a relaxed style which continues through the holiday season, this Christmas done up in an eclectic, lodge style. I wanted to have some pops of color and fun, mixed with neutrals and a touch of glam.

I first shared our Saddler Leather Sofa from Raymour & Flanigan in this post last spring. Some things have changed in here since then, which is one reason I love this sofa so much: the style is so versatile! No matter what kind of look I am going for, it works.

To make it festive in here, I exchanged the kilim throw pillows for buffalo plaid and some glam sweater pillows I made last year. You can check out that tutorial here. I made the faux fur pillows last year as well. (The deer pillow is from Craftberry Bush).

Along with the lodge vibe, I also wanted to have a mix of mid-century and retro decorations. My mom gave me a cute vintage tray, and it is perfect sitting across the sofa on a faux sheepskin on the ottoman.
Our tree is filled with vintage ornaments, many recently given to me by my mother by way of my grandparents. I am so happy to keep their memory alive in our home through these special heirlooms. My grandmother was very serious about her Christmas decorating! This will be my first Christmas without both of them, so it will be a bittersweet one for sure.
Some faux greenery and lights decorate the window behind the sofa, and a vintage wool blanket adds a festive touch.
Raymour & Flanigan’s Bohemian Elegance Table Lamp is one of my favorite decor pieces ever. I had to have a pair! They are the perfect match to my grandparents’ HiFi record console which is the other main focal point in our living room.
Our vintage nativity is in the center and I put star wall decals all around to make it fun and whimsical for the kids.

So, that’s our holiday living room! I’m trying not to take decorating too seriously this year, so I can enjoy it with my little ones and focus on what really matters…making every day special for them! Christmas has always been a favorite time of year for me, and I love watching my children develop that same love.

Every day is filled with excitement around our home between our advent calendar and our silly, vintage elf, Snowy, who is always getting into mischief! I’ll try to share some of the things he has done soon!

And more details from our holiday home will be coming in the next week or so, but for now, head over to these other awesome bloggers and enter all of the giveaways!
