Simple Fall Mantel: Minimalist & Natural
This year, I decided to go fairly simple with my fall mantel decor. The walls and salvaged mantel are both white, so I wanted to bring in a bit of deep seasonal colors and natural elements to welcome autumn into our dining room.
I shared a glimpse of it in my recent Fall Home Tour. Today, I am sharing more details of how I brought it all together.

It began with a woven basket, found at a thrift store, and a pair of brass candlesticks. I was really feeling simple, symmetrical and natural, with subtle hues of autumn like deep red, pale orange and brown.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today! I am always humbled that this little blog of mine has regulars as well as daily newcomers. Thank you for that!
Recently, I changed the comment format to Google+, but didn’t realize it would prohibit those who aren’t on their from commenting. I attempted to revert it back, but found that I would sadly lose all comments on the last several post. Also the increase in spam comments that I was receiving previously was starting to make me crazy! Hopefully this change will not be an inconvenience to too many of you. My deepest apologies if it is! I do love hearing your thoughts 🙂
