18 Eclectic Living Rooms: Collected Spaces that Inspire

Decorating an eclectic living room can be tough when you want it to be well styled, yet have that “effortless collected” vibe that we can find all day long on Pinterest. I have struggled in my own living room (like I talked about on Wednesday), and often turn to fellow bloggers and interior stylists to gain inspiration.

Here are 18 eclectic living rooms that showcase personality, comfort and style, each in their own unique way. Click on the links to see more from each space.

I am currently swooning over this living room redo from The Gathered Home. I love the mix of jewel tone colors, brass accents and warmth that the wood brings to the space. The unexpected details give it loads of personality.

Ever since I first found Primitive and Proper, I have been in love with Cassie’s style. Her living room always serves to inspire me with its individuality. I love how she pairs vintage and modern elements into a cohesive look.

A favorite interior designer of mine is Oscar Bravo Home. His style is impeccable with warm tones, natural elements and modern style. I love following him on Instagram and was so happy when he started blogging! So much inspiration can be gleaned from the talent that he shares with the world.

This gorgeous fireplace and mantel design from Home-ology Modern Vintage had me at hello. I would love to have a fireplace in my own living room. Loving how this space is styled with brass and jewel tones and an array of collected pieces.

How gorgeous is this space from Scotch and Nonsense? The color palette and mix of textures is perfect. I’m totally crushing on those worn leather chairs and brass coffee tables.

If you are a regular here, you know I love bohemian style! This living room space from A Designer at Home stopped me in my tracks the first time I visited her blog. Every. single. glorious. detail. So much personality in this space.

Another vibrant living room is this one from Casa Watkins. I love how she has pulled together all of these collected pieces into a unified design scheme. You can see more glimpses into her living room on Instagram.

This living room design from Dimples and Tangles has so much inspiration to behold. A gorgeous and bold mix of patterns, textures and colors. I’m in love with the peacock mirror above the mantel and that brass light fixture! Sigh.

I love when people are able to pull together a gallery wall around a television. I tried it a few years ago and failed. You can learn how Melissa George did this one on her blog Polished Habitat. The horse head next to the television is perfection too.

These days I am dreaming of a gray sofa like this one from Blue i Style. Her living room has a modern, fresh look with pops of fun colors. And check out that awesome jukebox!

Here is another awesome eclectic gallery wall around a TV. I immediately fell in love with this personalized living room space from Desert Domicile. It’s amazing to me when people can incorporate their television into a sophisticated design. The dark blue sofa surrounded by white walls and patterned textiles: seriously, gorgeous!

I love the mix of black and white in this space from Rain on a Tin Roof along with the fun and eclectic assortment of gallery wall artwork and accessories. That unicorn!

A pair of great chairs put together in the living room has been a dream of mine for a LONG time but hasn’t been practical in our space. Love these chair redo’s from 58 Water Street, the cool throw pillows and gallery wall in the background too!

How cute is this little office nook in the living room of Domicile 37? The gold tones and pink together are perfection. And the black wall with herringbone wood pattern is too.
Who doesn’t love a chesterfield leather sofa? I have one myself! I am enamored with this warm and cozy living room from Finding Silver Pennies. An inviting atmosphere can be found all throughout her home.
Another favorite living room with a chesterfield leather sofa is this one from Shabby Love. The neutral palette with a rustic bohemian vibe is speaking my language. And all of the diy projects in this space prove you don’t need to shell out big bucks to have awesome style! Melissa shares several of them on her blog.
Here is my own living room from this past fall with our leather sofa. I also wanted a cozy, rustic bohemian style. The mix of patterns and textures makes me happy.
On Wednesday, however, I shared how I turned the main living room into more of a “family room”  recently, to try and accept our small space and its limitation. The microfiber furniture and television came back in and the other pieces were moved to my office. While the boho living room was more my “ideal style” it wasn’t practical for our family needs. We ended up giving up a playroom and office trying to make that space work. I am sure this new design won’t last long either, but for now it is working for our entire family and I managed to keep in a lot of the various textures and colors that I love.
I hope you enjoyed these various eclectic living room spaces and will pay these talented bloggers a  visit to see more details from each room shared here!
Be sure to come back this weekend for Week 100 of Sundays at Home to share your own inspiration with me and my co-hosts!
Till next time…

I don't even know where to begin, they're all so good! Love the jewel tones at Gathered Home, the black, white, and brass combo at Primitive & Proper, the seating at A Designer at Home, the modern black and vintage floral combo at Domicile 37… and your living room, of course. Honored to be included in such good company!

So much goodness! Those malachite stools, Cassie's black fireplace and lucite coffee table, and don't even get me started on The Gathered Home's to-die color palette! Totally inspiring. And I absolutely love what you've done with your own space – especially all the beautiful texture, which is something I've always admired about your personal design. Great curation!
