• Christmas Past

Welcome to the second month of Town and Country Living’s Cozy Living Series! I am excited to have the opportunity to join these talented bloggers and share our personal versions of how we do cozy throughout the year. And what is a cozier time than this? This is my favorite time of year! It has changed a lot around our house with three little ones and become much more colorful, fun, and I’ll admit it: even a bit cheesy. Not even kidding…we have a huge inflatable elf in our yard as I type. The kids love it. I am still working on getting our house decked out for this Christmas…

  • Vintage Christmas Decorations

This post contains affiliate links. I may receive a small commission for any sales made through them, but the cost to you does not change. Full disclosure. I love vintage Christmas decorations. They are my favorite no matter what trend is circulating for the holiday season. I suppose it’s because they remind me of my own childhood Christmases and bring back all of those warm fuzzy feelings. You know from when Christmas truly felt magical? I remember pulling out all the ornaments my mom had collected through the years and decorating our trees with them. I like to keep that tradition alive by continuing to have vintage ornaments and decorations…

  • Packing Up a House Full of Memories

I knew it would feel like the blink of an eye and the time to move would be here. And now it has arrived. We officially moved out of our home this week and the new owner was given the keys yesterday. I was feeling all sorts of emotions as we went through this process and our home got emptier and emptier. We are currently housesitting for my cousin as we have waited for the closing day on our new home. We finally get to move in this weekend! Since my desktop computer is packed away, I only have access to our laptop and previous blog photos, so today I…

  • Nostalgic Christmas Tree & Making Memories

Christmas is almost upon us! Which actually gets me a little sad that this magical time will soon be over, but before it is, I wanted to share more details of our nostalgic Christmas tree and some of the memories we have been making this holiday season.  I shared my full holiday home tour last week, but our tree is pretty special to me since we received several of my grandparents’ ornaments. Both of them passed away earlier this year (my grandmother in January and my grandfather in March), so it has been a time of loss and remembering. I am grateful to have these small mementos to keep their memory…

  • Holiday Home Tour 2015

This Christmas season has been special for me. With a three and four year old, it is absolutely the best time of year, so I have been taking things slow to savor all of the sweet moments and create lasting memories. I decided to hold off on doing a holiday home tour post for just that reason, but I’m happy to share it with you today. I was invited to two large group tours and was a bit sad to turn them down, but I knew it would cause me a lot of stress getting our home all done up the week after Thanksgiving. I wanted to take my time…
