An original mixed media collage by Alice Wingerden created on acid free, heavy weight watercolor paper. Materials used include acrylic paint, charcoal pencil, gel medium, antique book pages, an altered original black and white photograph, vintage buttons, antique lace, vintage book binding scrap and found vintage ephemera.

Measures approximately 5 3/8” by 7”.

Titled, signed and dated on the back.

This piece has 3-dimensional objects attached so it can be displayed in a shadow box frame, a frame without glass or simply as is.

This piece is part of a larger body of collage and mixed media art, exploring pain, loss and healing through the unification of discarded and abandoned objects. Other works are available in my shop.
