Under the Weather…and a Fall Preview…

Harvestcollection09small

For those of you who have visited my shop in the past couple of days, you may have noticed that it is closed as I begin stocking our new goods for autumn. I had thoroughly hoped {and planned} on getting everything prepared and ready to reopen on the 1st…

But then life happened…

and I caught a cold…from my husband… 🙁

I tried to fight through it and keep working away…but I had to succumb to my mother’s advice and “get some rest.” The box of kleenex has been my best friend these past two days…and I have spent most of my time resting on the couch watching movies with Renoir.

I got desperate to do some work this afternoon…so my loving husband {who is almost back to his old self}, brought our computer downstairs for me so that I could work in our big chair in front of the tv. I have been working now for quite a few hours, editing photos, but have come to the decision to put off opening the shop for a few more days…as I know that I still need to rest…

I know you will all understand…and thanks for the comments and emails about the shop reopening…I am very excited to share all the new goods and creations with you…I really hope you love them!

So…as of now…the plan is to reopen on the 3rd. I most likely won’t get everything “done” to my satisfaction {I am quite a perfectionist} by that time…but it will be enough and I will work on getting many of our new products listed throughout September. Hope you will stop by this fall to see what I have been up to as well as our new offerings! Here is a small preview of what’s to come…

Fall Preview

Till next time {I’ll just be here with a sniffly nose, stuffy head and sneezing away}…

I’ll bet sweet little Renoir has been your constant companion! Drink lots of orange juice! Much love to you and doggie kisses Renoir! Julie Marie
