Christmas 2012

Another Christmas has come and gone…it always seems to pass too quickly for me. Here are some glimpses into our “holiday” home this year. Hazel certainly enjoyed all of the lights and decorations. Every morning we heard lots of “ooh’s” and “ohhh’s” as things lighted up and were new with festive touches.

We did some rearranging recently as well…our brown mantel that was in our living room is now painted white and in our dining room…

I have enjoyed setting up a “winter scene” in old canning jars for the past two years…Hazel really enjoyed them…

On Christmas morning, Little Miss Hazel woke up to find a new tree in her room along with her stocking. Loved seeing the wonder on her face…

She also enjoyed opening all of her new things that morning…Owen enjoyed watching 🙂

I didn’t have much money this year, since I haven’t had my Etsy shops open for awhile (taking care of these two kiddos is pretty time consuming…but I do love it!), so we made homemade gifts for Josh…I did Hazel’s handprint and Owen’s footprints on paper and put them in old jars…

Hazel also made her first masterpiece to give to Daddy…

Overall we were truly blessed this year…and looking forward to the new year ahead…

Blessings…till next time…

Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Your home was decorated so festively and I love the white mantel. You've inspired me to make a change with my mantel.

    Happy New Year!

Hazel is precious! And I'm in awe — you did all that decorating with two littlies! Girl, you should get an award or something … I didn't do nearly that much and I don't have children! Handmade gifts are the best.

What beautiful pictures of your babies and your Christmas! I just want you to know you are an inspiration to me. My baby #2 is on the way and seeing this post makes me appreciate that even though you don't have a lot of free time for your business, you're still creating beauty for your husband and children. It's something that's simply a part of you and needs to come out, and having little ones does not cancel out the value of your creativity, but rather sweetens it. It's like your alabaster jar. I know your family is so blessed because of you!

you really have beautiful kids there. The picture will make you feel the spirit of Christmas though it is not at my writing time.
I really love how you color your picture. Really nice. Makes it class. Great.
