Photographing the Youngest (how being the fourth changes things)
My sweet baby boy Fletcher just turned six months old on April 14th. Maybe it’s just because he is the youngest of four, and I am one busy mama, but these months have flown by. I feel like he was just born, or rather, I was just 9 months pregnant feeling like he would never, ever come. But came he did and grow he did. Very quickly. Springtime in Quarantine
How are you holding up? This is such a surreal time in our lives, but I hope you are adjusting to your new normal whatever that may be. At our house, we are all currently in a seven day quarantine because poor little Fletcher developed a cough over Easter weekend. He seems to be doing okay, no fever or breathing difficulties. Just a rough cough that has made a few nights less than ideal. Having all four kids at home and trying to manage schoolwork for the older ones (plus their google meets and zoom sessions) while tending to the little ones has been my biggest challenge. House Small: Boho Dollhouse Shop
Exciting news: I have opened a new Etsy shop, called House Small, devoted to my love for boho dollhouse decor and eclectic miniatures! Okay, so here is how it all started… Have I mentioned, I have a *slight* obsession with dollhouses and miniatures? Okay, maybe a time or two… It has been a lifelong interest, but the passion was sparked again. a few years ago, when my husband brought home a handmade dollhouse from a garage sale. Thanksgiving Dining Room Decor
November is flying by, isn’t it? With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I finally got all of the Halloween and birthday party decorations down in time to do a little decorating. I am not hosting dinner this year (thank goodness!), but I always like to decorate for Thanksgiving anyway. I kept things fairly simple again this year with a vintage, eclectic vibe. Violet’s Goodnight Moon Birthday Party
Hey Friends! Can you believe that my sweet baby girl, Violet, turned two yesterday? I can’t, that’s for sure! We’ve had two fun filled years with our sweet, spunky, lovable girl. She loves to give “huggy’s,” read books, “biwd” blocks, play with her big brother and sister and make up her own words. Grandma = “Mocha”; water = gaga; apple cider (her favorite!) = goup, her brother Owen = “Buh” and sister Hazel sounds like “Hey-dough.
