    Goodnight Moon Birthday Party

Hey Friends! Can you believe that my sweet baby girl, Violet, turned two yesterday? I can’t, that’s for sure! We’ve had two fun filled years with our sweet, spunky, lovable girl. She loves to give “huggy’s,” read books, “biwd” blocks, play with her big brother and sister and make up her own words. Grandma = “Mocha”; water = gaga; apple cider (her favorite!) = goup, her brother Owen = “Buh” and sister Hazel sounds like “Hey-dough. We have no idea where she came up with some of these but they have become standard language around our house! Over the weekend we celebrated her birthday with a “Goodnight Moon” party. Today,…

    Antique Dollhouse Living Room

I’m back today with another antique dollhouse room tour! If you missed it, I shared a brief tour of the whole house here and explained about how we acquired this amazing heirloom dollhouse from a raffle prize. A few weeks ago, I also shared a full tour of the farmhouse style kitchen. Today, we are going to check out the living room and dining room combo and all the fun vintage details. This dollhouse was handmade by a girl’s father in the 1930’s and she kept it her whole life until she donated for a raffle prize at a dollhouse show in our area. My kids and I were the…

  • Halloween Home Tour

    Vintage Halloween Table Decor

Welcome to my first ever “Halloween Home Tour”! Before having kids, I was never much into decorating for Halloween, but since having three, you can say I’ve turned a 180. We are pretty much going all out now adding spooky, kid friendly Halloween dรฉcor around our home. I shared our porch last week decked out for the holiday. Today, I am taking you inside! This post contains affiliate links. I may receive a small commission for any sales made through them. We did add a couple of things to the outside since I shared porch pics, so here’s what’s new: a large, furry spider hanging out on the bushes….eeeek! My…

    Antique Dollhouse Farmhouse Kitchen

I’m excited to take you back inside the antique dollhouse today, to show you some of the charming details of this adorable farmhouse kitchen. If you missed my first post about this dollhouse, be sure to read here about how we won this amazing house and get the full tour. I will be sharing separate posts of each room to show more details, and today it’s time to check out that kitchen! I kept all of the original items that the house came with in the room, but added a few touches from our own miniature collection. I even hung back up the old farmhouse fruit curtains. They were definitely…
